South East Asia Destination for August

Hi All

Any suggestions on a good location for a dive holiday, weather wise, for August in SE Asia????

August is a good time for most SE Asian destinations except for Phuket and the Andaman sea although it is still possible to dive there, it is not the best time. Researh this forum and you will find lots of options to consider.

The Manado (Bunaken and Lembeh Islands) area in North
Sulawesi, Indonesia has good weather in August but it is also peak season so you need to check to see if space is available.

Even in September/October the weather is good. On Bunaken Island it rarely rained even though it would rain in Manado City.

Manado area is so close to the equator that it not subject to typhoons/cyclones or hurricanes.
