Hi...and thanx for a great site and great forum!!
I am a 40 yo Norwegian diver, Divemaster, Nitroxdiver, Resquediver and I am a certified dive doctor. I'm moving to Stellenbosh with my family this summer, to stay and work there for some or many years (not dive related.)
I have seen there are many students dive clubs, and some stores do have the usual commercial "diveclub" around. From Norway I am used to independent diveclubs, who have boat, house, compressor and so on. Anything like that in Western Cape area?
Anyone who need a new buddy?
There must be an advanced dive society in SA, because you just lost that cavediver of yours, who was diving mixed gases down to 150 m.d. (Condolances to those of you who knew him). How to contact these guys? My interests are turning more and more into the really deep diving and the unexplored wrecks.
At last one question; Big white shark... Really...how is the combination diver and shark?
Thanx, and good diving to all my scuba brothers and sisters out here.
Erik, Norway

Well, you are about 15min away from the Somerset West Strand area. Nice diving spots around the corner from Gordons Bay. Yes, you will no doubt meet some GW's. Be carefull in the Macassar area. I don't think they do diving over there. Stay low........

Howdy!
