I am just about ready to order up a d125 strobe for my c5050 set, and I had pretty much settled on the Ikelite articulating arm set that is available with it, but I keep reading on these boards about the Fisheye tray and Locline arms that are available from Yuzo? Who is this? I can't seem to find Yuzo anywhere on the web. The locline arms sound interesting, but will they adapt onto my Ikelite quick release handles? And what is this Fisheye tray like? Any better than the Ikelite tray I have? Thanks for any info. Woody

You can see the Fisheye tray and locline arm from Yuzo ---->HERE

You might also want to contact Ryan at Reef Photo and Video and look at the ULCS Digital tray. It's the same basic design as the Fisheye but IMHO has a much better grip on the handle. He also has S&S locline arms. He'll be able to tell you what fittings you need for the base. Talk to him....he'll fix you up!

I would absolutely not recomend putting a DS-125 strobe on a locline arm. I don't know of anyone who uses this setup... Well, I do, but he had to run industrial cable through the center to keep the setup from popping apart. The strobe is too heavy.

There is also no supplied mounting solution for mating the locline arm to your strobe.

If cost is the issue here, Ikelite's basic arm package is very affordable, and mounts to the top of your tray. The articulating ball arm is also competitively priced when compared to other options.

Thanks, guys. Now I have a better idea what I'm doing. I agree, the Ikelite setup looks like the best arrangement for this rig. Now all I have to do is figure out how to pay for it. Woody
