Roombaguy; dude, you live there. Tell us you don't get lost! Seriously, thanks for the info, it'll help a lot of folks.

LOL. Of course I don't need it :-) I did mess around with it though and it works really well and routes you properly. George Town can be confusing the 1st time around. Getting to Cobalt Coast also.

This was just a "public service announcement" from a friendly local guy!

Cheers

The back streets and small drives in George Town as well as toward Cobalt Coast can, indeed, be a pain. I sometimes wonder if some of them are really documented roads, or just glorified driveways!

At least if you get lost on Grand Cayman the residents will give you directions rather than rob you. Some places I've been have seemed to be the opposite!

Well, we managed our way around GC just fine. It is very confusing at first though. There is no such thing as a straight road, and the street signs are almost useless if you don't already know the area. Plus, roads tend to change names many times; west bay, 7-mile beach, church, etc, etc... all the same road. I NEVER would have found Cobalt coast if they didnt have those signs posted at every turn.

Thank God for the Cobalt Coast signs! Were it not for them, we'd have driven aimlessley around the labyrinth of the West Bay area for hours!

Even though the wife and I have been going to Grand Cayman at least once a year for a dozen years, we'll for sure be bringing our Garman with us in November. We don't really need it, but a couple of friends are going in December and we want to debug it before we loan it to them.
