Is it alright to cry over your dive vehicle because I'm about to. I just bought a brand new 2002 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab bright red (obviously) with all the options 2 days ago and a woman just drove right into the side of it an hour ago. I'm getting way too emotional about this (first new vehicle, dream dive vehicle, haven't even dove out of it yet etc......). Please console me. I'm a wreck:( Thanks.

Geez... ain't that the way it goes though! All I can say is... it WILL be purdy again, just try not to look at it until its fixed.

Sorry to hear the news... I know how awful I would feel.

Oh my -- that's got to hurt.... As murdock says it's ok to;-0

Look at it this way....Now you don't have wait and worry for that first little ding or scratch to happen! You can go ahead and use that brand new truck for whay you bought it for.

I'm sorry to hear about your new toy being damaged like that.. i't just not fair.. but then no one ever promisted life would be fair.. Hang in there buddy... hopefully things well be ok..

at least ya are ok !
to me it seems that red cars and trucks are a target ive had 3 old red clunkers and they always get bumped and break down .
i wanna find a color that isnt a target

Wow! You beat my record!

I had a shiny, black firebird that lasted a grand total of 5 days. Bought it Sunday, got it insured, registered and on the road on Monday morning - lost it Saturday afternoon.

I was driving straight through an intersection on a rural highway (I had right of way) and a driver turning left from the other direction totaled both of our cars.... Thankfully, noone was injured. She had her baby in a carseat in the back of her car.

One of the VERY few times I was ever glad the car directly behind me was a police cruiser...

Hehe. My car was bought used but in very good shape. After her insurance company inspected it, they called me and offered to total out the car for more than I had paid for it a week earlier... I accepted their offer :) and bought a camaro ;)

Ouch!! That really stings! Im a peaceful man, but had it been me I would have had a few choice words for the lady!! I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer 2dr/4wd - Pewter colored. Complete with dive tag on the front and dive stickers on the rear hatch. I always park so no one can open thier door on me. I would kill someone for a door ding!!! Darn thing still looks as good as it did the day I bought it (knock on wood)

I agree with everyone else though......its just a truck. No one was hurt and thats really all that matters. The truck can be fixed.

Count your blessings :)

We keeo two cars in our family, one ( my wifes) that is cleaned at least twice a week, always worring over it whats gonna happen to it, and then theres mine. It gets banged up, slopped around, but does the job for us. Just remember, theres always insurance!!!
