Sonic Cameras

I've noticed that Sonic Cameras out of NY has D300s at half the price of other companies. Seems a bit odd that only one company should have this deal. I'd love to save that kind of cash, but it seems very dubious. I'm concerned about fake or knock off products. I want only a genuine Nikon product. Has anyone dealt with this company before?
