Sometimes I think I don't get paid enough

I don't work for somebody else. But sometimes you just can't charge enough.

Supply and demand is what it usually boils down to. In every crisis, there's an opportunity. I made $350 hooking up this car in zero vis. Total Btm time 20 min.
The Insurance gladly paid me before the Sherrif's Underwater Recovery Team showed up to do it. Guess the County charges a little more than me. I've walked away from a number of jobs when the price ain't right, or the risk outweigh the reward.

I think that if you ask this question to almost anyone (diver and non-diver alike), people seldom believe that they get paid enough. Like you, I've had some crappy diving under extremely hazardous conditions. I've been fortunate enough however, to have been involved with an excellent company and progressed to make much more than I feel I deserve. I point this out because although I had times when the pay was low for the risks I was taking, it all came out in the wash... I do however appreciate what you are saying. :)
