Looks like you are off to a great start with the new rig.

Selfish me wants to ask if, in future, you could post images as 700 pixels on a side instead of thumbnails...I hate clicking and often don't have a chance so good sized images are much more enjoyable! You can Save for Web and change the dimensions and file size all in one screen, if you have Photoshop (I'm sure other programs have similar features). Some are still on dialup so 100kb or less for a file are great.

ScubaBoard has a lot of room for your own gallery and uploading is really easy. Then you can simply copy the information in the quick link box under your uploaded photo and paste that in - viola! Instant photos :)

Thanks Alcina.

100kb just doesn't have the detail or clarity.
But i will keep that in mind when i post next time.
I have Photoshop and Acdsee Pro w/c can resize the image.
I just feel it would be a shame to buy a 8.1 megapixel camera
and can't show its high resolution capabilities.

My apologize to our dialup brothers.

All of my pictures posted are around 100kb ocrmaster and the clarity is quite good. alcina has a great suggestion about posting them in your SB gallery.

Your my #1 Idol!!!

100kb and the clarity is still amazing. Your amazing.
I can't wait to get pointer from you.

what are your initial impressions then on your S80? were you able to adjust white balance at depth?

A tip....hold your breath for a sec or two or while slowly exhaling when you press the cam shutter...
