Thank you Cardog.
I think that you can use on the E-PL2 the adaptor Olympus MMF-2, but probably you loose the autofocus.
I don't know if the underwater housing have enough space to accept this adaptor.
What kind of housing and port do you use ?

I use the Oly housing with the stock port...

Beautiful pics!
Any way to use that lens with the E-Pl2?

Hi Ron,
I have looked into this extensively and you can, with the aid of the listed adapters, use the 50mm macro lens with the EPL-2 and Olympus housing.
You will find that when you use the MMF-2 camera to lens adapter that autofocus becomes alarmingly slow and inconsistent. I purchased the adapter and 35mm macro lens and it is useless, the only way to safely use it would be to lock it off at 1:1 and move the camera in and out underwater!
The housing adapter is approx. $270usd at the moment and then you still have to buy the port.
I have chosen to wait for the Olympus 60mm macro and Zen port when released next month?

Thanks, Bruce. I thought that it was too good to be true. I'll be waiting for the Oly lens myself.....

The 50mm macro is truly a beautiful lens though, it gets remarkable reviews.
BUT, there is always a but, it is only 1:2 and only gets to 1:1 on the 4/3 sensors because of the 'so-called' multiplication factor of the micro 4/3.
Other macro lenses that start out at 1:1 end up at 2:1 on the micro 4/3 system. . . really cool for macro or super macro.
Hopefully the new Olympus 60mm macro will be a 1:1 lens?
Bruce

i use the 50mm on the epl 1 and the autofocus is super slow.
