Hi all
I'm nto sure why, but I really enjoy reading abotu dive theor, the physics, the advanced techniques, ect. Just wondering if there were some online resources, maybe padi manuals in pdf. format or somthing, that I could sink my teeth in to to get a jump on my next dive course. Right now all I have is my OW, but I will soon get in to advanced OW, nitrox, ect.

thanks!

This collection contains works of Diving Science And Technology Corp including the development of their tables. Not sure how much it will help with classes though.

and a few more suggested readings.

Good luck!

Yeah...Listen to Gene and take his suggestions...Rubicon has a universe of material. Some of it may be over the head...eg Weinke...Whew:) But there are other readings that will be easier to understand. And you can do a search on the net. Just type in dive theory or the particular gas laws...Just type in "dive theory" and/or gas laws and diving...You will get all the info you will want...

George1098,

You might want to fill in more on your profile. You would be surprised at the help and suggestions you will get from people sharing things in common with you.

Let's also add chapters 30 and 31 from the Borden Institute textbook: Medical Aspects of Harsh Environments, Volume 2.

If you are really bored, my talk on 'Diving Medical Literature' is available for download as well (new update might be finished later this weekend).

Gene...How do I get to your talk on the Diving Medical Literature once I get to Rubicon?
