I recently purchased some Freediving books, Freedive! by David Sipperly and Terry Maas, and Breatheology by Stig Avall Severinsen. I have started reading Breatheology first, and it has some great information in it! Its not directly aimed at Freedivers per se, but more of a "How To Manual" of breathing, for things like health, stress relief and increased physical performance. But they are definitely information that can be applied to Freediving. Freedive! is more of a history lesson, where the sport started and some great background information on the sport, along with some practical Freediving techniques and advice.
I hope armed with these two books I can get started in the incredible sport on the right foot! PS Any advice for a flegling Freediver would be most welcome! I don't know of any Freediving classes or organizations in the area, so any advice would be most appreciated!!! Noah
