ERP once bubbled...


Helium has much higher heat conductivity than air, so you generally don't want to use it to inflate your suit.

I must have misunderstood...I thought they were advocating not using argon unless the breathing gas included helium....

And my thinking about Argon was only temperature related.

That's right.
If your backgas has helium, use either air or argon. If your backgas has no helium, an extra shirt will keep you way warmer than using argon vs air.
