Girls - let's get the lilac hat as soon as possible.
Why? Read this:

Woman
when 5 years old
looks at the mirror and sees a princess

when 10 years old
looks at the mirror and sees Cinderella

when 15 years old
Looks at the mirror and sees the horrible stepsister of Cinderella. “Mum, I can’t go to school like this!!!”

When 20 years old
Looks at the mirror and she’s “too fat, too slim, too tall, too short, hair too straight, too curly” but still goes out

When 30 years old
Looks at the mirror and she’s “too fat, too slim, too tall, too short, hair too straight, too curly” but she doesn’t have time to take care of this right now and despite all goes out.

When 40 years old
Looks at the mirror and she’s “too fat, too slim, too tall, too short, hair too straight, too curly” but says that at least she took the shower and despite everything goes out

When 50 years old
Looks at the mirror and says „I’m myself” and goes out everywhere

When 60 years old
Looks at herself and recalls all those who already can’t look at themselves. Goes out and wins the world

When 70 years old
Looks at herself and sees the wisdom, joyfulness and skills. Goes out and enjoys life

When 80 years old
Doesn’t bother to look at the mirror. Simply puts on the lilac hat and goes out enjoying life and the world.

That is really good. Thanks

At 14 I thought I was fat because I weighed 2 pounds more than my best friend. At 30, I wished I still was only as fat as I was at 14. At 36, I wished I was still only as fat as I was at 30 (I had a hypothyroid episode). At 40, I lost some of that weight after treatment, and now, I look in the mirror and am just thankful that I don't weigh as much as I did at 36.

P.S. Since I like what I see now, it seems much easier to keep the weight off.

Yeah, funny how it all falls into perspective as we get older. I'm pretty sure I wont put the lilac hat on, even if I'm 80.

I remember living in California after my 1st daughter was born. I thought I was obese. My mom took a picture of my daughter & me on the beach. I stood behind the stroller to hide my fat thighs. I was a size 9. Oh, how I wish I was that 'fat' again. LOL

I think we all judge ourselves so harshly...I know i am my own worst enemy.

I am the first to see inner beauty/outer beauty in all people, except myself.

.....going to be 34 this year....i need to work on this
