This solo female has made some dive buddies - via this site! We're going to the Solomon's at the end of April 2009. Yahoo. I'm so excited.
It was a tough decision - there are so many deals out there and so many operators in Asia Pacific. The deciding factor was (1) the excellent reputation of the one (one and only) operation in the Solomons - and (2) the fact there is ONLY one operation. If I ever want to go to the Solomons - I had better do it now - otherwise - who knows?
I was thrilled to find out how cheap the air fare is to the Solomon's via Fiji (much shorter too). Going from LAX -> Nadi Fiji (10 hours) then (3+/- hours to HIR in the Solomon's). Easy! (Amazing) $1200 + tax = $1500. Sounds like a deal to me.
There is still room on the boat for a few more friends
