Solaris Review ALERT

I went and saw a movie today called Solaris. Normally I would not even consider posting a review, but I need to save you all from wasting your time and money.

I love Sci-Fi so I had to see this film (used loosely) to get my sci-fi fix. Within the first 10 min I was having a hard time staying awake, the movie was Glacially slow and re-defines the words mind-numbing, boring, dull ect… I get to see 90% of all new releases and this by far was the most boring steaming pile of po*p I have watched in months, maybe years.

The theater was full and there was the usual A**holes in there making noise. Normally I would ask them to be quite, but in this case there was no reason to even bother since the movie was re-defining bad. One person to our right was wearing headphones and blasting music through-out the show. This was upsetting, but I didn’t even care anymore, we should have just walked out. I was going to ask the girl with the headphones to turn it up so at least we could all enjoy some music!

I would be very surprised if anyone likes this movie.

Not really.
I saw this last night. A slow movie I can tolerate with good company. Glacial with bad acting and no plot like this one was is more than a bit much.

Think back to the worst dive you ever had and consider doing it again before spending money and time at this movie.

Thanks for saving me the money, also. I went and saw the new James Bond movie last night. It was OK. I liked it, more then not liking it, but I still would only give it a 5 1/2.
My '10' being movies like Brave Heart, and Forrest Gump.

i also saw the bond flick. Typical bond movie, entertaining but just dead average.

Harry Potter on the other hand was excelent. Better than the first i think. If your going to spend $ at the movies, see the Potter film!
