Solar charger for Sea Doo?

Hi,

I have a Sea doo VS (i.e. "pool toy") and am wondering if anyone has ever used a solar charger to recharge the battery. I have a Brunton Solaris 12, which will trickle charge a car or marine battery, but I'm not sure about the sea doo. Thanks from a newbie.

Welcome to the board. I am not familiar with the Sea Doo but it it uses a 12v battery, there is no reason the solar charger would not charge it....but it will take some time. Assuming that the charger is 12v.

Amp capacity of the battery/amp out put of charger= time to charge battery.

Unless you have a $1000 solar panel its gonna take a week of sun to charge it.
