Does it matter how old is the sodalime
can I use it even if it was stored since 5
years for example, and how can I know
if it still working properly or not, or if I
can still use it or not.:wacko:

All sofnolime containers have a use by date on the side. The sofnolime should be useable up to that date if the lid has been kept sealed.

The older it gets the less reactive it becomes so dont take a chance. Brand new containers have a 5 year life if they are never opened

Why risk your life for the sake of a $10 fill, buy a new lot

To bring it from the UK to my country, GUESS
170$ each 20 kilo, including shipping and taxes .

Check out the Sofnolime website, for their agents. Ther must be a closer and cheaper place to buy than shipping from APD in England. APD dontg make the Sofno, they just act as one of many distributers

There are quite a few sources in Egypt for example, thats much closer

No, its the same price as APD as we have to add 17.5% VAT to APDs price and Moleculares includes the TAX

As youre not in the UK that tax should be taken off

Ok the dealer of Egypt for the sofnolime and VR3 and dive rite and a lot more is a best friend of mine. So I just sent him an email to see what can I do.
But madmole I believe it will cost me any way to much cos in Egypt they pay more than 50% some time to the government ( I know this very well)
But it wont hurt to send an email and see what could the answer be
And when I was there use to buy the sofno for 10$ per kg with the scr.

If the scrubber was $10 a Kg in egypt it will definately be cheaper to by from APD and get it shipped. Nicky is expert at doing this to many countries.

Trouble is of course untill youve done your training APD wont sell it to you so you'll either have to wait (ask your Instructor where he gets his) or get from Molecular
