Worth it or not, good season or not for big stuff? I've read that liveaboards don't go then and I see that some others do, a bit confused here.

I had a great trip on the Nautilus Explorer this spring, they don't start going to the Revillagigedos until November
 
Definitely worth going... but I don't think the boats head there until November. That time of year they are doing Sea of Cortez, Midriff Islands, explore Baja, or Guadalupe. Which are also great choices.
