Just thought i would throw this link in here about my trip this last weekend to SoCal, we dove Leo Carrillo and Deer Creek on friday and Casino Point on saturday, had an awesome time, look forward to doing it again sometime, probably next year though, funds are kind of limited, but next time i take the liveaboard out to the islands! You guys have it good out there with so much shore diving within easy reach! ;)

SoCal diving has been great lately, had 50--60ft of viz at the Los Coronados Islands yesterday, thought we were in the Carribean, till the cold water woke us up........nice report btw.

It was such sweet diving out on Catalina, reckon 50ft viz, forgot that in the report, but you guys already know how good that spot is.

As for return trips, they will come! I know for sure that my trip was far less expensive than jlyle's in the Keys, man that must have cost and arm and a leg for all those dives. We are hitting some of the same spots (Speigel, Duane, Molasses, French) at the beginning of next month with a huge SB get-together, we get discounts as well, i am back on the couch once more, this time Scuba_Jenny's.

The conditions are definitely great right now. Was at Casino Point yesterday. 71° water and 60ft of viz on our first dive. Sweet!
