Good to see some other divers in So Cal on here. Welcome to the board. I mainly dive the canyon in La Jolla off the beach. Dive boats dont take to kindly to tech divers :( i have had some not so wonderful experiences with boat dives and the captains of them. Theses were also dives charterd by my LDS for my tech classes deep cert dives, the captain was clearly pissed off with our dive times. Maybe i should be blaming the LDS for not explaining to the captain what the plan was. Either way it was not a good trip to catalina.

Welcome to the board, and one of the best places to spend your SI.

This by far has to be the best board on the Internet. I appreciate the warm welcome that I have received from so many members here.

I didn't dive this weekend, haven't had a chance to dive since finishing the certification dives the weekend before. Going through withdrawls. I may have to sign up for the AOW course that begins with class time tomorrow night just so that I can get some diving in soon.

Best Regards,
Steven

There seems to be enough of you SoCal folks that you should start getting organized as a branch of Neptune Divers International (the dive club associated with this board that LadyDiver and Iquana Don are working hard to bring to reality).

If you need help, let me know and I'll let you know how us Texas Swampsters got going (which was really very easy and painless).

Welcome from LA - I agree with TM that a SoCal chapter may be fun!
