Hey, Why don;t you try the newly owned dive park at Whitney Lake.
Word is they are making a lot of good changes there south of the metroplex.
 
Well where oh where!!!!
North Sea, West Scotland, Stoney Cove, Guildenburgh, English Channel, North Atlantic, Portugal - Algarve, Marseilles France, lakes in Germany, Baltic Sea, once in Holland (that was enough), Corsica, Gozo, Red Sea, Zanzibar, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mnemba Island and now Mahahual Mexico.
 
Dive experience....

Indonesia: Bali and Lombok.
Bali was much better than i expected. Maybe because it was pretty quiet when I was there.

Thailand: Phuket...was during the monsoon season. Was not that nice.

Next spot...hopefully Meditereanean(Turkey)

Kingston (6 times or so, returning to ice dive in 2 weeks)

Tobermory (3 times last year)
Pt. Dalhousie

South of the border
Gilboa Quarry (once, returning may 24 wkend)

This year
The infamous Empress of Ireland in August
Cuba in November
The mighty St. James in Lake Erie in June

After looking at everyone else's posts I think I have some catching up to do. Can you tell that I much prefer the cooler waters with beautiful shipwrecks vs. pretty fish & coral?
 
During my first year of diving:

Palau - Lives up to its reputation and more
Guam - Great value - good diving at low cost
California:
Laguna Beach - Good diiving walking right off the beach
Calalina Island
San Diego - Yukon, Ruby E and Kelp beds
San Nicholas Island (Sand Spit- Wicked current with great viz)
Mexico - Los Coronados Islands
Hawaii - Kona coast - not as good as I had expected Guam and Palau are better

Next Stop:

Upper Keys in May

Where exactly was that? Most of my dives have been made and will be made in Holland, which is no surprise, considering I'm dutch. :p But I guess if you're used to it...
