FWIW: Taiwan is now producing 13million masks a day, raising personal weekly quotas, and easing export restrictions for close family members.Except they can stand by it all they want, but countries with widespread mask usage show significantly lower infection rates than western countries. Taiwan has 13 cases per 1 million people. Other Asian countries/cities have similar lower levels.
We are not on lockdown here, life mostly going on as normal while social distancing, still 99.9% of cases are traced to existing known cases or imported cases who are on home quarantine already. Government doing a top job, but i'm waiting to see signs of community spread cases, not happening yet. You generally can't go to any public places without seeing everyone wearing a face mask, peer pressure. Long dive weekend coming up..
