I have a 35 foot Sailboat that I dive from when I get the chance. (not often enough) Your boat is trailerable, as I remember, so you should check out diving out of San Diego. Its almost as close as the LA launch ramps from your area. Could definetly make some Yukon dives. Maybe we could link up for Los Coronados this summer. There are anchorages there that are calm and quiet and the visibilty is usually great. BTW if this is your first boat, I recommend taking the US Power Squadron Boating Course. It covers boat handling, navigation, safety and rights of way.

http://www.usps.org/e_stuff/Basic.html There navigation course is also good.

Already took my US Coast Guard Safety course, but I'll check out that link as well, can never learn too much.

Yes, my boat is trailerable and I expect to launch anywhere from San Diego up to Long Beach area.
