This is from a May 2024 trip to French Polynesia. There was good snorkeling right off the beach in Bora Bora but Moorea has so much more to offer. I'd go there again in a heartbeat and skip Bora Bora. I had access to a kayak and the ability to do some exploring of pristine areas. The prettiest parts will be Moorea for sure.
