I’ve been shooting macro for some time. I want to try using a snoot. I have Ikelite ds230 strobes.
These are great strobes, and I have seen some snoot attachments for them but with their large size and lack of flexibility in the arms, these don’t seem like the best option for snooting.
Id be happy to proven wrong.
In looking around it it seems like the Backscatter MF is the go to option for a lot of folks.
I could change my housing to an optical trigger but I like my TTL capability .
I was wondering if I can use the remote optical trigger on the MF and trigger it by firing the Ikelite strobes.
Has anyone tried it. Seems like it should work.
Do you snoot with t large strobes? Options?
