Actually the maps I found and have been looking at are from the University of Alabama Dept of Geography. They really aren't even maps but aerial photographs.

Under Cullman county - Trimble you can see builidings in the area where the lake was flooded. I'm having trouble cross referencing the images beacuse of size differences but i'll get it right soon.
Also you can open Winston county- Falls City and look at the falls that are now submerged.
