SMC or CMC macro lens for my nauticam housing

Hi, need help here 'cause I am a bit lost. I got the sony RX 100 MK II with it's nauticam housing and I am perhaps planning to buy a new wet macro lens, as there are two different ones on the market, which one would you recommend as being the best ?

CMC is for smaller sensor cameras like your RX100 & M43, SMC works better with full frame and APS-C size sensors.

But does the SMC still work on my housing or is it too powerful technically and CMC should be the better choice ?

Both will work on your housing but CMC-1 well give better performance and slightly more magnification.

You need to be aware of working distance the CMC is powerful but not really needed on the mark II traditional diopters work well. I would not consider the SMC is too big for the form factor of the housing
