We had an article about the kelp project in the Daily Breeze on Labor Day, the 2nd. The reporter and photographer came on board the week prior, and we took them to Long Point. And yes, you guessed it we did urchins. The article really captured all the hard work that we've put into the restoration, and the successes that we've enjoyed.
There was plenty of kelp canopy to show them, and they were impressed. A huge thanks to all who have come out and given their skills and labor to the site. The canopy would not be what it is today without all our volunteers coming out on our boat and lending their subsurface talents to the benefit of the kelp forest. Divers, you are irreplaceable, Thank You.
