Smartcom Uwatec/Scubapro Reset? (without opening)

First, I no longer have a Scubapro dealer in my area.

I have a Smartcom (Uwatec/Scubapro) that has been a great computer.

However, it currently shows ONLY the wrench/spanner icon.

Based on years of experience, it SHOULD have plenty of battery life left in it.

Is there anyway to reset this unit without opening it up? Can I get it to connect via IrDA and use SmartTrak to wake it up somehow?

That icon is usually for the battery. Not sure it will give you any other info if downloaded.
