Hello,

I have looked all over... right through to G9 with Patima. I am an expert on them!

My wish list is for the smallest Canon that has:
RAW or CHDK ability
Canon OEM housing must take an INON wide angle wet lens.
Image stabilization would also be good.

What model? Maybe the SD870 IS ?

Thanks for the help...
James.

The SD870 IS is probably your best bet.
It works with chkd, that gives RAW ability.
The housing is fairly small.
It has wideangle 28mm(36mm eqvivilent) out of the box.
Don't know about INON wide angle wet lenses for it tho.
It might work as the housing has a circular opening for the lens.
Most other new Canon housings don't have the circular opening, bu rather a square...
The downside is that it's quite limited in manual control.
Chkd gives some of that manual control back, but it's a bit mezzy to use fast...

Canon 570IS with DC-12 housing will accept Inon lenses including the amazing little 165AD fisheye lens.
