I just bought a PST HP 120 Steel tank with galv coating. There are a few very minor scratches through the galv. I am wondering if these will rust and, if so, I should hit them lightly with a cold galv spray. I want this tank to last as long as possible.

Zinc coatings resist migration of rust through 'self healing'. Use a spritz of zinc paint if it worries you.

leave as it is, the tank will be fine. Any alteration will void the warranty.
