As I posted in another thread, one of the things my wife and I do on each trip we take is send a postcard to our now 2 ½ year old granddaughter. In the future, she will eventually see (and understand) a picture of where we traveled to, have a stamp from a different country, and have a nice written sentiment from us.
A card we mailed last November from Riviera Maya, MX took awhile as it arrived 2 months and a handful of days later.
That has now been beat by the postcard we mailed from Dominican Republic on April 28th......it just arrived today! Almost 4 months!!
There must be a different name for mail that moves that slow!!
