Hi, Does any divers out there have the new Inspire device for sleep apnea?? I ask DAN, but there has not been any studies on divers with this??Thanks

I know it has been 3 months, but if you are still interested, you can download the Inspire patient manual. This is specific for their model 3028, up to date as of 2023, so you would have to check on whether there are any changes, or any other models out there.


Of interest to you is the following paragraph:

"Scuba Diving or Hyperbaric Chambers. Do not dive below 30 meters (100 feet) of water or enter hyperbaric chambers above 4.0 atmospheres absolute (ATA).Pressures below 30 meters (100 feet) of water (or above 4.0ATA) can damage your generator or leads. Before diving or using a hyperbaric chamber, discuss the effects of high pressure with your doctor.

The concern would be possible damage to the device if you exceed the stated depths/pressures. I would recommend staying well clear of those limits.
