My question is what organism is the most likely to cause a skin problem when touching a mooring line with bare hands with no gloves because the gloves are not allowed in MPA? There were several different things growing on the lines and we are not sure what caused my wife's skin problem. She has an appointment with the dermatologist. I touched the same lines with my hands and had no problem. Just thought we might give a little info to the doc.

If I touch a buoy line I get bumps on my hands. Really irritating that they won't let me wear gloves on the way down and up.
