I chanced today on the "Skin Diving History" website, which though still under construction, already has a huge collection of images of early diving equipment manufacturers and retailers advertisements, classified alphabetically by company:

This is a mine of information for anybody interested in rare original sources from the 1950s. Most of what I've seen on this website I haven't seen elsewhere. My only gripe is that the sources aren't (yet?) dated or contextualised.
