On this trip in was mentioned that using a heated vest might contribute to this type of skin bends. Not sure, but thought I'd put it out there.

In the article Duke Dive Medicine linked to it was found the the worst case for a diver was to start the dive warm and end cold. The lecture that Dr Neal Pollock gave at the Rebreather Forum suggested that a heated vest worked best if you could turn it on half way through the dive. A heated vest that does not last the whole dive is the worst situation from a deco perspective since you will take up inert gas faster than you will eliminate it and most deco algorithms assume equal uptake/elimination rates.
 
So I realize one data point is not really a reliable gauge but it was recommended to me to try a GF 30/70 profile and I can say after 330ft 12 minutes at depth 88min run time everything feels good, even after yet another even worse drysuit leak. I really have to find that hole in my suit. ;)
