Can anyone tell me what size Allen wrench is used to remove a yoke insert in a DIN tank valve? Looking to take just that size with me on an upcoming trip.

8mm

Mine measure 8mm, 6mm or 1/4 inch. I know 6mm and 1/4 inch (6.35mm) are not that different, but the plugs really are different.

And then the fill station will use your nice clean inserts to fill someone's DIN and forgot to bring inserts and forget to put your's back. Then they scramble to put a few inserts in your valves which are different sizes and don't have those nice viton orings you paid extra for. Bring all the sizes and bring extra orings for protection, cause inserts get passed around more often than a $5 hooker and you never know what got screwed in your valve.

Mine are all 10mm or 1/4". I've rounded a couple 1/4"ers using a 6mm wrench.
