sorry, computer/internet are terrible.

everything was geat at seaventures. i was able to do 11 dives over three days (we were there 4 nights) at Sipadan in the end. they offered 5 dives a day at sipadan, weather permitting, once the permit was taken care of which was really nice. they even got me an extra day once a diver cancelled their reservation. you are able to do unlimited dives directly under the rig which was quite good itself. unlimited use of rental equipment and air throuout, decompression time permitting. couldnt have asked for a better time. great crew, boats and some of the best divimg in the world.

feel free to follow up with any qurstions but need to get off te web, getting frustrated

Thanks to everyone for this great thread. It was insightful and helpful to my upcoming trip in September. 30MvizChicago, did you get to pick your 10 dives? I'm thinking of a 6night/7day trip, did you think 4 was enough?

I'm contemplating SeaVentures, Scuba Junkie and Borneo Divers. Has anyone stayed and dived with Scuba Junkies or Borneo Divers? Rates are comparable, but they are on the island.

Borneo Divers and Seaventures generally get excellent ratings from our customers and the bonus of unlimited diving under the rig is a great draw, it really is an excellent dive site. From my two visits to Sipadan I certainly remember my dives there and it was great for photos. Sipadan Mabul Resort is slightly cheaper than the others and again we always get good feedback. I have dived with scuba junkie but it was there daytrip from Semporna, so can't give you an opinion on there Mabul Resort. You can compare prices and see some customer reviews here.

I very much enjoyed my timr with Borneo Divers and they started taking care of me at the airport in KK.

We stayed at SCUBA Junkies on Mabul and loved the buzz , the travellers vibe and the beach front location. It was very busy and the other resorts seemed extremely quiet when we were there in November. However they get fewer permits than the other resorts so the maximum you get for Sipadan is one day there for every two days of local dives.

Sipadan is amazing , just book anywhere and you will have a wonderful time.

Thanks again for everyones feedback. I'll provide my feedback after the trip!
