Hi all !!

I recently went to sipadan and on one of the dives a crazy pissed off fish attacked the whole group biting our fins, cameras and my leg.The fish was black with 20/25 cm and he had huge white teeth. The fish probably had its nest nearby. If someone can tell me the name of the fish I would appreciate.

Thanks

Hi wisnu , it wasn t a clown trigerfish this fish was all black an it had four sharp white teeth coming out of his mouth. The divemaster at the time tould us what fish it was but I forgot :)

Yes, I was attacked twice at Balicasag Island here last week by Titans...

are baby titans all black? adult titans that aggressively defend their territory and much larger and would not be called "all black" unless the viewer is watching on a really old TV.

Maybe it was a baby Megalodon?

Was this at South Point at around 5-10m depth? In that case you've met Evil Eddie, he is some sort of wrasse, dont know what kind exactly. And he is more psycho than most trigger fish. Funny little fellow, haven't heard of anyone getting really injured by him though.
