Okay, so it's the time of year to be planning our trip over the Chinese New Year... this year, we have another couple who we know but have never dived with that want to travel with us and dive whichever location we finally decide on...

Now, my wife and I had basically already decided we wanted Sipadan... our LDS had a trip there last year and the response back from other divers was very, very positive (except for that little thing about 'DO NOT TOUCH!!' but, they are of the more dominant Asian persuasion and think they make their own rules)....

My wife's teaching partner who we've traveled with went to Sipadan once last year, and then went back this summer over the school holiday and got her DM passed off in about 4 weeks complete with carrying tanks and lunch buckets... but she raves over the place...

Now, I know that the 2016 Invasion is schedule for PG and Dumagette, and these friends of ours have suggested that Dumagette is another great place... but I've dove in Anilao (three times, and I'd go back), Puerto Galera (and I'd think about going back when theres sunshine in the forecast), Panglao (Bohol), and of course Coron... so I'm wondering what will impress me about Dumagette, and what is the selling point for my wife who didn't find any youtube videos that impressed her?

So, if you had the choice, weren't worrying about airfare one way or the other (Dumagette is less expensive for me), which would be your choice for a week long trip?

Cheers
