I personally have found this board to be invaluable! While some may call me a lurker, I prefer to say I am in Learning Mode. I have learned a great deal from your discussions of equipment, sites, and techniques.
Members of this board have pointed me to invaluable resources of information. Some links have directed me into hours of reading. Other links pointed to the best place to find gear and supplies.
What this board has in great supply is a group of opinions that differ greatly from my LDS. Before I spend big $$ on gear and training, I would like a second opinion. Yes, I take everything with a grain of salt, but I still feel that the open discussion is a great resource. I hope to find a good local dive club with some old salts willing to give sage advice. In the mean time I hope you folks will let me lurk and learn.
UP, I know Ive seen that photo before also. I thought it was OMS web page, but cant be sure.
