Singapore airlines managed to raise funds through a right issue and convertible bonds. That's why they are now able to do refunds. Most airlines would be insolvent if they give refunds before raising new funds.

You forgot to mention that the airline is owned majority by the Gov!!!!

You forgot to mention that the airline is owned majority by the Gov!!!!

Of course if not would not have been possible to raise funds so quickly...

Not sure about Hin Leong though. Its an oil trader not the national airline.
