No problem, I'm glad to be some small help to my fellow divers.

You got too much time on your hands! :06: Go diving now!:D

Yes you're right :) I'm going to be at Sund rock for 2 or 3 dives on Wednesday. That should help keep my free time in check.

I also have a pair of bio fins. The one thing to be aware of regarding trim: When you stop finning, and just float, your feet will drop under you and pull you into an upright position. Not a problem unless you're over coral and trying to hover close. If so, just don't stop finning... That said, I really like my bio fins and wouldn't go back.

Hmmm, I hover in a horz position wearing Bio-Fins without issue. I can even do so wearing 3lbs of ankle weights in a drysuit.

Your trim has more to do with your BC and weighting vs. a slightly negative fin. If you can not stay horz, I would suggest working on the tank positioning, and the weight distribution until you can. Most fins are slightly negative, so if that resulted in every diver going vertical when not finning, there would be no horz divers on drift dives :D
