I have just taken the LP and HP hoses off my first stage to do a bit of re-arranging, and haev noticed that all the o-rings are terribly fatigued and in need of a change.

My question is this.. should I be using silicone grease on the new o-rings before I use them, and if so how much?

I always grease up the o-rings on my camera housing and torch with silicone grease, by applying a small amount to my forefinger. I then gently run the o-ring between my finger and thumb until the o-ring is coated thinly and with no lumps of grease.

How do I achieve a similar result with the tiny o-rings on a reg hose?

BTW I only dive air, no other gas mixes.

about the same as you do with your other o-rings... just enough to get them shiney...

but of course I can't recommend silicone... only O2 compatible spit for me.
