I'm kevin. I got certified a few months ago and was lucky(or unlucky) enough to go diving in cozumel. I say unlucky because it may have spoiled me too much. I still love diving off catalina but the water sure is chilly.
I grew up in New Jersey and will be going back this summer to visit friends and family. Can anyone recommend a good dive shop and dive site in the Garden State?

Welcome to Scuba Board. I don't know any dive shops in NJ but if you want to venture into Manhattan, Pan Aqua Diving is a good dive shop. I got nitrox certified with them. Their site is Scuba Diving with Pan Aqua Diving in New York City and Connecticut - Home Page
