Hi guys,

I have a buddy that has a sidemount harness that looks like this:

and is trying to get just the air bladder that he can use for sidemount.
The perfect example of what we are looking for is the Razor Bat Wing (pictured below) but looking for something a little cheaper.

Please let me know if you are selling one (full sidemount system too) or if you have any recommendations, much appreciated.

Thank you for looking!! :confined:

You could checkout the UTD Z trim device or XDeep SM wing, not sure if they are significantly cheaper than the bat wing.

The Stealth wing is only a little cheaper than the Bat wing, but I found it to work much better.

Check out the DiveRite 'Trim Pillow'. It's only $85. Has just been discontinued, but I'm sure there are a few still floating around in LDS etc.

It fits nicely on a Razor-style harness, but only has 10lbs of buoyancy. That may, or may not, be sufficient for your needs. It'll support 2 AL80's and an AL40 no problem, but surface flotation is negligible with your tanks on.

A lot of people are recommending Jacket-style BCD's. Another common recommendation is the 10L MSR Dromedary. The MSR is oral-inflate only (unless you take OPV and inflator from cheap BCD) but it DOES have 22# of lift.

Thank you guys for all your help with my purchase!

I think the MSRs are going to be PERFECT for what my friend needs. Thank you Victor!! :)
