DC800 shutter lag is typical of other point and shoot cameras and depends on the settings. It can be as fast as 0.1 seconds in Ext Flash mode with focus set to infinity.

Now can you tell me what a more typical shutter lag? Say if the camera is in underwater mode, utilizing internal flash only?
