On vacation in Boston a few months ago.

Hey Blitz, is that a purse across your chest?

johnnyseko:
Totally JEALOUS!!!!!!! I'll trade you all my gear for your A-Star! Someday man, someday......would love to do law enforcement. Maybe someday down the road....

Ah...a man who knows his helo's!

If you're considering going into law enforcement, the time to start preparing is NOW! You're at an age (based on your profile) that if you go too much longer, it'll get much more difficult to pass those physical agility tests. You're also getting close to the upper age limit of many departments (generally speaking 35-40).

The fact that you have helo experience will put you at an advantage when you finally put in for Air Support. BUT....you'll have to do your time in the trenches first.

Good luck, and if you have any questions about the process send me a private message.

Bet somebody was hoping I wouldn't read this eh? ;)

Blitz:
Nah, I left my purse in the car... That was my camera case.

Thought so, but couldn't resist!

RonDawg:
I take it you're Johnny's S/O and don't approve of his possible career change?
ROFLMAO!
No I'm the buddy and I am almost a decade younger and I'm wicked obnoxious about it is all :D ;)

Ahhhhhh....just another opportunity to poke fun at my age.....lol! And I thought it would be 'cool' to have a much younger female dive buddy!!:D Better double up on those diapers in your dry suit is all I got to say.........hehehe

Hey RonDawg!
Thanks! I'm halfway to instructor and then will be working toward the 1000hrs required to get a 'real' job. I know in most cases you have to be an officer then observer first. There have been rumors around my school NY hires contract pilots and I shall be looking into the MA State Police very soon. I've got a ways to go and just want to get settled into instructor role before I begin really doing the job search.
