There are a couple of cylinders in the hall, my twins are in the front room, drysuit in a bag behind the sofa, another cylinder and dive bag with regs/fins/mask in the front room as well, another bag with pool kit under the bed, and lots of stuff in a storage unit.

I'll be glad when we move somewhere bigger.

Heck, I'll be glad when you move.:) I would go nuts with my stuff all over like that. Heck I'd be worried I'd forget something, if everything weren't in it's place. I am one of those though that cleans the gear asap and as soon as it is dry it gets put back exactly where it goes.

I finally got around to taking some quick picks. I live in a double wide mobile home (about 32X66) with no basement and a detached garage. I keep my gear in the home office as the garage is for welding and other dirty activity. I built this rack at the shop but I am not done and am waiting for summer to finish it up.

I forgot to add that I keep the doubles and the other 7 80's in the garage and the new O2 bottle has not come yet but will be inside with the 40 cuft pony and the 19cuft pony.

Just out of curiosity, what do you use all of those bolt snaps for? And can I have some?

NWD - my type of guy - all the right hangers. I can't stand wire hangers for my gear. Why do I feel like Mommy Dearest suddenly? :wink1:

BTW, the cat dives?

I love that the cat is in there. And I agree with Missdirected - all the right hangers! niceeeeeeeee. I like a guy who is well-rganized. But don't tell my husband that because he really isn't! ;)

I just took a trip to mexico and had bolt snaps on my lights, hoses, and the like and my course instructor wanted to buy them all cause he knew I got them from NIX dog collars so he gave me $5 each and I just ordered the replacements for $2.60 each (plus a few extra) so thats why I have so many and I have yet to put them on anything. The cat just happened to end up in the pic and I didn't know it, she was rescued as a runt and I got her free as a pure bread cause the pet store was gonna let her die. the hangers have been picked up over time just about every time I order something from LP. The place is a mess actually since I have stuff out for service, out for use, and out on loan so really there is more stuff and that rack really get full but I couldn't build it any bigger to fit in the room.

BTW the rack is all welded but consists of 3 components so it will fit in the doors, everything is held together with 8 bolts. I would start selling them but its super labor intensive to make them. If someone wanted a special rack built I could help though.

I too live in an apartment, and it happens to be on the 6th floor. Right now where I live the house prices are still nosebleed levels due to a speculative mania, so it would be most foolish to purchase housing at this time as us younger people would just be funding the excess of someone else with lifelong levels of debt. But that is for another rant. I made a purchase, and it's one so far I can't regret at all. I picked up a used Pelican 1650 from feeBay for about $120, and well, IT'S AWESOME! At least for going to the quarry. I imagine it wouldn't be good for dive boats, I'd switch back to soft bag for that.

It rolls like a charm, and I can fit it into the trunk of my car (after moving the subwoofer of course). I was looking at other alternative like Stanley cases from Home Depot, but I finally just dropped the money for the Pelican and I have to say it rocks. Once I get a rebreather I figure I might get a second case.

For long periods of storage though, I do take most of my gear and hang it up. But during the summer, most of it (once dry) sits in the pelican ready to leave.
