Hello ...

I am planning a trip to MA sometime end of this month or beginning of next. I was thinking of experiencing Cape Ann for the first time but was told that this may not be the best time for Cape Ann or MA due to bad viz (less than 10). I do photography so viz can either make my dive or break my dive. Questions ...

1)Does the viz there improve as we get closer to Summer?
2) Any particular dive sites that will have better viz than others?

Thanks in advance ...

I would come May or june not much life around yet.....Also wind is the determining factor here in Cape Cod Bay....No north wind....good vis

Vis is improving and life is returning. I was out this morning. The water was a balmy 43. vis was 10-15. I saw atleast 12 lobsters of which 1 or 2 were definately keepers. Also saw 1 good size flounder.

If you do come up Captain Sinbad I'm on vacation the week of the 23rd and will be diving at least a few of those days.

Wonderful. Thanks so much guys. Petrieps ... do you do shore dives or boat dives?

U wanna try the boat run by Cape Ann divers?

Is that boat going out yet? I haven't got his email yet.

yes - they run pretty much all year except jan/feb usually

ooops...I meant The Daybreaker. Haven't heard from Fran yet.
